🎨 Workshop Description:
Discover the fascinating world of relief art and embossed effects using an unexpected everyday material — foil!
In this hands-on workshop, children will explore how raised textures, lines and patterns can transform a flat surface into a striking relief artwork. They’ll learn what relief art is, what embossing means, and how an embossed effect can be created using foil.
Using an owl as their subject, children will work from a reference design while being encouraged to create their own patterns, details and interpretation. They’ll then bring their artwork to life with the reflective, metallic quality of foil and color.
🪄 Session Flow:

- Explore → See how lines and textures can create an embossed effect
- Create → Build and shape an owl design
- Experiment → Apply foil and explore its reflective surface
