💛 Workshop Description:

What makes us buy something — a need, a want, or just an impulse?

In this hands-on, interactive workshop, children will explore how and why we make spending choices — and what truly matters when it comes to money.

No boring theory here! Every part of this session is designed through games, stories, and creative activities to help kids understand money sense in a joyful and practical way.

Through group challenges, fun discussions, and a surprise craft project related to the theme, children will explore the difference between needs, wants, and impulse buys — learning how to pause, reflect, and make thoughtful, balanced decisions.

It’s a playful introduction to financial literacy, gratitude, and mindful choices, helping kids realise that being a “smart spender” isn’t just about saving money — it’s about valuing what truly matters.

This workshop is hosted by Inomi Creative Labs in collaboration with The Learning Loft where smart choices meet creative thinking!

💛 Session Plan

💰 Ice-Breaker Game: Needs vs Wants (15 minutes)

We’ll start with a fun ice-breaker that helps children distinguish between what they need and what they want, setting the tone for a thoughtful yet light-hearted session.

🧩 Interactive Activities & Games (80 minutes)

A series of engaging, movement-based and creative activities will help kids gradually build their understanding of needs, wants, and impulses. This includes a fun surprise art & craft project they’ll get to take home — something meaningful they’ll create with their own hands.

💛 Snack Break (10 minutes)

A relaxed snack break where children can refuel, socialize, and unwind. 

🙎🏻‍♀️ Wrap-Up: Reflection & Gratitude Circle (15 minutes)

The session closes with shared reflections, stories, and a gratitude circle — helping children appreciate the things they already have and the choices they make every day.

1. Parents are requested to drop off their child and pick them up after the session ends.
2. Limited waiting outside our studio classroom; no waiting inside Learning Loft reception or classrooms.
3. Please arrive 5–10 minutes early to help your child settle in comfortably before the session begins.
4. Kindly send your child with a water bottle to stay refreshed.
5. Snacks will be provided during the session. Please inform us in advance if your child has any food allergies or dietary restrictions.

7. If you prefer that your child’s photographs or videos not be shared on social media, please inform our team upon arrival.

💛 Cancellation & Refund Policy:

• If you can’t make it and let us know at least 24 hours in advance, we’d be happy to provide a credit to book another workshop within 60 days. You may also transfer your spot to another child (as per eligibility requirements) well before 24 hours’ notice.
• Last-minute cancellations (less than 24 hours) or no-shows are non-refundable, as materials and facilitators are planned in advance.
