💛 Workshop Description:

Step into a world of colours, reflections, and patterns in our Make Your Own Kaleidoscope – STEAM Workshop! 🌈

In this exciting hands-on session, children will build their very own kaleidoscope and discover how mirrors and light create beautiful symmetrical designs. As they rotate their creation, they’ll observe ever-changing patterns—making science feel magical and fun!

This workshop combines Science, Art, and Creativity, helping young learners understand concepts of light, reflection, and symmetry through playful exploration.

💛 Session Plan

Introduction to Light & Reflection (15 mins):

A simple, child-friendly explanation of how mirrors reflect light and create patterns, with a short demo.

Build Your Kaleidoscope (75 mins):

Children assemble their kaleidoscope step-by-step, add colourful elements inside, and decorate the outer body creatively.

Explore, Share & Wrap-up (30 mins):

Kids experiment by rotating their kaleidoscope, observe patterns, and share their experience with the group.

💛 Important Instructions:

1. Only registered participants are permitted to be seated inside the studio space. Accompanying individuals are kindly requested to drop off & pick-up.
2. Our studio is located within EuroKids Preschool on the 2nd floor. Please note that there is no elevator access; entry is via stairs only. Kindly plan accordingly.
3. Waiting space outside the studio classroom is limited. Waiting within the EuroKids reception area or classrooms is not permitted.
4. We request you to arrive 5–10 minutes prior to the scheduled time for a smooth and comfortable settling-in process.
5. Please carry a water bottle and wear comfortable clothing, as some activities may involve light mess.
6. Workshops are conducted even with a single participant. If you prefer a group setting, we recommend checking current registrations with us prior to enrolling.
7. If you do not wish for photographs to be shared on social media, please inform our team upon arrival.

💛 Cancellation & Refund Policy:

• If you can’t make it and let us know at least 24 hours in advance, we’d be happy to provide a credit to book another workshop within 60 days. You may also transfer your spot to another child (as per eligibility requirements) well before 24 hours’ notice.
• Last-minute cancellations (less than 24 hours) or no-shows are non-refundable, as materials and facilitators are planned in advance.
