π This Halloween, let your child design a Calavera Mask thatβs spooky, colorful, and full of life! ππΈ
In this fun, hands-on workshop, children will explore the Mexican art of Calavera mask-making β where Halloween meets the vibrant traditions of DΓa de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), celebrated on November 1st and 2nd each year. Itβs a festival that turns the spooky into something joyful, colorful, and creative!
Kids will design and decorate their own Calavera masks using bright colors, festive patterns, and sparkling embellishments β and also learn to make beautiful handmade paper flowers to complete their creation.
Guided by our facilitators, children will explore art, culture, and imagination β discovering how creativity can make even Halloween a celebration of life, color, and joy!

Session Plan:
Introduction to the Theme (15 minutes)
The session will begin with an introduction to the fascinating tradition of Calavera mask-making β where Halloween meets Mexicoβs DΓa de los Muertos (Day of the Dead).
Hands-On Activity β Calavera Mask Making (90 minutes)
Children will start creating their own Calavera masks using paper bases, bright paints, colorful patterns, and sparkling embellishments. Guided by facilitators, theyβll learn to design expressive and vibrant masks that reflect both Halloween spirit and Mexican artistic flair.
Showcase & Closing (15 minutes)
Once the masks are complete, children will gather to showcase their spooky yet joyful Calavera creations. The session will end with a short celebration and a group photo.
π Important Instructions:
- Please make sure your child eats well before the session β weβll be busy crafting and wonβt have a snack break.
- Bring along a water bottle to stay refreshed.
- Dress your child in comfortable clothes β things might get a little sparkly!
- Arrive 5β10 minutes early so your child can settle in comfortably before we start.
- Parents are requested to drop off and pick up after the session. Limited waiting outside the studio; no waiting inside EuroKids reception or classrooms please.
- We are located on the 2nd floor inside EuroKids Pre-School premises. If you have trouble finding us, just ask the EuroKids staff or call our team β weβll be happy to guide you.
- If youβd prefer that your childβs photos not be shared on social media, simply let us know when you arrive.
