Workshop Description:

Ever watched your child get lost in textures? 🧶

In this calm yet creative workshop, children will learn the art of basic weaving — turning simple threads into colourful, patterned creations. As they weave over and under, kids will experience how patience, rhythm, and creativity come together to form something truly their own.

Guided by our facilitators, they’ll explore how colours, textures, and repetition work hand-in-hand — helping them build focus, fine motor skills, and a mindful sense of accomplishment. By the end, every child will proudly take home their handwoven piece, a beautiful reminder of slowing down and creating with intention. 💛

✨ Session Plan

Introduction to Weaving (15 minutes)
We’ll start by discovering where weaving shows up in everyday life — from fabrics and baskets to art. Kids will touch different yarns, explore patterns, and understand how textures and colours interact.

Hands-On Weaving Activity (90 minutes)
With individual mini looms, kids will learn step-by-step weaving techniques. They’ll experiment with colour patterns, practice the over-under motion, and enjoy the relaxing rhythm of crafting their own woven designs — guided and supported throughout.

Wrap-Up & Reflection (15 minutes)
We’ll celebrate every child’s woven creation with a short reflection circle and quick quiz. Kids will share their favourite parts of the process, appreciating the joy of focus, colour, and creation together.

💛 Important Instructions:

• Parents are requested to drop off and pick up after the session.
• Limited waiting space is available outside the studio; no waiting is allowed inside EuroKids reception or classrooms.
• Please arrive 5–10 minutes early so your child can settle in comfortably before we start.
• Carry a water bottle to stay refreshed.
• Ensure your child eats well before the session — we’ll be busy crafting and won’t have a snack break.
• Dress your child in comfortable clothes — things might get a little sparkly!
• We are located on the 2nd floor inside EuroKids Pre-School premises. If you have trouble finding us, just ask the EuroKids staff or call our team — we’ll be happy to guide you.
• If you’d prefer that your child’s photos not be shared on social media, simply let us know when you arrive.

🪁 Cancellation & Refund Policy:

• If your child can’t make it and you inform us at least 24 hours in advance, we’ll be happy to offer a credit that can be used within 60 days for any future workshop.
• You can also transfer your spot to another child of a suitable age group with 24 hours’ notice.
• Please note that last-minute cancellations (less than 24 hours) or no-shows are non-refundable, as materials and facilitators are prepared in advance.
