Where Art Meets Emotion — Paint Your Own Starry Night ✨

Step into Van Gogh’s mesmerising world of swirling skies, glowing stars, and deep blue dreams!
In this hands-on fine arts workshop, kids will recreate The Starry Night — learning how simple brushstrokes and colors can express feelings, rhythm, and imagination.

Guided by our facilitators, children will first observe the original artwork closely, exploring how Van Gogh used movement, texture, and emotion in his painting. Then, they’ll dive into creating their own masterpiece — layering shades of blue, blending textures, and adding glowing stars to make the sky come alive.

It’s a joyful, immersive art experience that celebrates creativity over perfection — where every child finds their own unique way to make the stars shine. 🌌

🖌️ Session Plan

1. Discovering Van Gogh’s Starry World (15 minutes)
We’ll begin with a friendly discussion about Vincent van Gogh and the story behind The Starry Night. Kids will observe, share thoughts, and explore how colors and patterns can express feelings.

2. Hands-On Activity: Painting The Starry Night (90 minutes)
Children will sketch and paint their own version of The Starry Night, step by step. Guided by our facilitators, they’ll learn layering, blending, and brush techniques inspired by Van Gogh — all while adding their personal touch.

3. Wrap-Up: Reflection & Gallery Walk (15 minutes)
Once the paintings are complete, we’ll celebrate every child’s creativity with a mini “gallery walk.” Kids will reflect on what they learned, and we’ll wrap up with a cheerful group photo to remember the day!

💛 Important Instructions

• Parents are requested to drop off and pick up after the session.
• Limited waiting outside our studio classroom; no waiting inside EuroKids reception or classrooms.
• Please arrive 5–10 minutes early so your child can settle in comfortably.
• Carry a water bottle and dress your child in comfortable clothes — it might get a little painty!
• Make sure your child eats well before the session as there won’t be a snack break.
• We’re located on the 2nd floor inside EuroKids Pre-School. If you face any difficulty, just ask the EuroKids staff or call us — we’ll be happy to guide you.
• If you’d prefer your child’s photos not to be shared on social media, simply inform us when you arrive.

🔄 Cancellation & Refund Policy

• If you can’t make it and let us know at least 24 hours in advance, we’d be happy to provide a credit to book another workshop within 60 days. You may also transfer your spot to another child well before 24 hours’ notice.
• Last-minute cancellations (less than 24 hours) or no-shows are non-refundable, as materials and facilitators are planned in advance.
