In this mind-bending STEAM session\, children will dive into the science of sight and the magic of art to create drawings that literally pop off the page. \n​Using the “anaglyph” technique—layering images in offsetting colours of blue and red — kids will learn how to trick the brain into seeing depth and creating art that transforms when looked through the two different red and blue lens. Whether they are drawing superheroes like Spiderman or their own unique art\, this workshop is the perfect blend of physics and fine art. Put on your glasses and watch your creativity come to life! \n  \n​Session Plan:\n​Introduction to 3D Magic (10 mins): \nA fun\, interactive talk on how our eyes see in 3D and the history of red-and-blue anaglyph glasses and art. \n​Creating the Masterpiece (70 mins): \nStep-by-step guidance on sketching and layering colours. Kids will use pens to create the “offset” and “transforming” effect needed for the 3D illusion. \n​The Big Reveal & Wrap-up (10 mins): \nThe best part! Kids put on their 3D glasses to see their artwork transform.
