It’s a festival that turns the spooky into something joyful\, colorful\, and creative! \nKids will design and decorate their own Calavera masks using bright colors\, festive patterns\, and sparkling embellishments — and also learn to make beautiful handmade paper flowers to complete their creation. \nGuided by our facilitators\, children will explore art\, culture\, and imagination — discovering how creativity can make even Halloween a celebration of life\, color\, and joy! \n✨ What Kids Will Learn & Create:\n✅ Design and decorate their own spooky-fun Calavera mask\n✅ Make handmade paper flowers to add a festive touch\n✅ Learn how art and color can tell stories\n✅ Boost patience\, focus\, and fine motor skills\n✅ Celebrate Halloween in a creative\, meaningful way! \nSession Plan:\nIntroduction to the Theme (15 minutes) \nThe session will begin with an introduction to the fascinating tradition of Calavera mask-making — where Halloween meets Mexico’s Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). \nHands-On Activity – Calavera Mask Making (90 minutes) \nChildren will start creating their own Calavera masks using paper bases\, bright paints\, colorful patterns\, and sparkling embellishments. Guided by facilitators\, they’ll learn to design expressive and vibrant masks that reflect both Halloween spirit and Mexican artistic flair. \nShowcase & Closing (15 minutes) \nOnce the masks are complete\, children will gather to showcase their spooky yet joyful Calavera creations. The session will end with a short celebration and a group photo. \n  \n💛 Important Instructions:\n\nPlease make sure your child eats well before the session — we’ll be busy crafting and won’t have a snack break.\nBring along a water bottle to stay refreshed.\nDress your child in comfortable clothes — things might get a little sparkly!\nArrive 5–10 minutes early so your child can settle in comfortably before we start.\nParents are requested to drop off and pick up after the session.
